Díky přátelům se ke mně za vězeňské zdi dostal podnět ke generální inspekci bezpečnostních sborů a městskému státnímu zastupitelství v Praze požadující nezávislé prošetření role policejních provokatérů a vlastně celé policejní akce Fénix. Podnět podepsalo několik známějších osob veřejného života z řad umělců, publicistů, signatářů Charty 77 a mnoha dalších oblastí. Continue reading

The situation of our comrades in prison: greyness, solitude and hunger

Non-vegan diet, isolation, boredom, hour and a half of daylight. Meeting people through the bars and hardened glass. These are just some of the conditions our comrades experience while imprisoned. In this article we would like to describe the everyday reality of imprisoned anarchists and outline ways to support them. We call for support of all three defendants and, especially Martin, to whom the few next weeks may be critical. We also call for exerting pressure on the Pankrác prison to respect Martin’s vegan diet and towards improving prison conditions in general.

The Czech undercover police agents: Revealed
Three of the anarchists who are currently being held in custody, where they wait for a court decision on whether they will be granted bail or remain on remand, were together with other individuals to attend meetings in the “conspiracy” flat according to the police version. Police claimed they should have been planning an attack on a train carrying military material or Hyundai cars and the alleged attack was to be carried out under the auspices of the Network of Revolutionary Cells. Prosecuted individuals are being accused by investigators of active participation on preparation and testing of incendiary devices (Molotov cocktails) intended for that purpose. The are also accused of participation in the logistics of the attack itself. The accused comrades however, rejected the police version and pointed out the ridiculousness of the claim itself, that someone would try to ignite a train made of steel using Molotov cocktails.
Let’s now focus on the important facts. The flat where the alleged terrorist group meetings should have taken place is no “conspiracy” safe house but merely a regular apartment where several people (some of them connected to the anarchist movement) lived. The decision to live together came from necessity of sharing to reduce living costs not from intentions to conspire. Shared housing is a perfectly normal thing, today and definitely not just among anarchists.
The flat occupancy was not the subject of secrets and that is most likely why it was so easy for undercover police to “infiltrate” the group. Activist meetings organised at the apartment (preparation of activities such as fundraisers, public meetings, cooking for homeless people) were also not a subject of any excessive safety measures and such activities can hardly be categorized as terrorism. It was the undercover police agents who were always trying to radicalise the issues and talked about the necessity to do “something more” than just peacefully protest.
The agents were constantly trying to persuade others that sticking up posters is irrelevant and that action should radicalise. These challenges were usually accompanied by swagger about their previous activities. Imprisoned comrades who were in touch with the undercover operatives also indicated that the idea to attack the train came from agents themselves, without anyone else being actively involved in the development of the plan.
One of the detainees Martin I. wrote:
“Operation Phoenix” is a provocation initiated by undercover police agents with the purpose of drag people into it and then put the blame on the for organising the whole thing. I suspect that the police and investigators are manipulating with the evidence. They think we will plead guilty but our confession would represent just mere lie and we can not allow this to happen! It is interesting how one can become a victim of repressions through arranged undercover operations. [République Tchèque] Manif solidaire avec les prisonniers de “l’opération Phoenix” – 6 juin 2015
Samedi 6 juin 2015, une manifestation s’est tenue en face de la prison de Pankrac, où un de nos compagnons, Martin, est incarcéré.
Environ 50 personnes y ont assisté, l’évènement était sous haute-surveillance policière. La manif a marché autour de la taule avec des banderoles, des slogans de solidarité et un discours a été lu.
Puis la manif s’est déplacée devant la prison de Ruzyne, où Petr est incarcéré. Une nouvelle fois, la manif a marché autour du bâtiment, dans l’espoir que Petr nous aperçoivent. Nous étions derrière le bâtiment lorsque deux prisonniers ont commencé à agiter des tee-shirts orange de leurs fenêtres et nous ont dit que Petr était détenu de l’autre côté.
Des prisonniers de l’autre côté nous ont dit que ses fenêtres mènent à l’intérieur de la taule, donc qu’il ne pouvait pas nous voir ou nous entendre crier, mais nous sommes convaincus que les nouvelle de la manif lui parviendront. Nous avons joué quelques chansons de VAP, un groupe dont faisait partie Petr. Nous avons également lu un poème que Petr a envoyé par mail.

Situace kamarádů ve vězení: šeď, samota a hlad!
Neveganská strava, izolace, nuda, hodina a půl denního světla a návštěvy přes mříže a plexi sklo. To jsou jen některé z podmínek ve vazebních věznicích, ve kterých jsou naši kamarádi. Petr: Takové obyčejné odpoledne
Stereotyp, stejnost, nudný koloběh, prostě vězení. Petr napsal následující řádky o takovém normálním odpoledni ve vazební věznici Ruzyně, kde mimojiné popisuje, že i za zdí věznice neztrácí touhu po svobodě. Po svobodě, kterou necítil ani venku mimo kriminál.
Život ve věznici je sice zdánlivě fádní, věčně se opakující cyklus zaběhnutých rituálů, přesto, stejně jako kdekoliv jinde, je to život. Ženoucí se kupředu s energií a s věčným hledáním svého smyslu. Continue reading

Společně, bok po boku, v cestě za lepší svět.
Maličká jiskra co může ukázat cestu ze tmy.
Ten, kdo se snaží zastrašit, sám měl by se bát
ne msty, ta je přeci jen slabochům vlastní,
že příjde den, kdy lidé přestanou si nechat život brát

Estoy mirando a través de la ventana de barrotes de mi prisión y pienso en tí
En los que son humanos como yo pero tan diferentes a mi.
Qué tipo de sensación debe dar el leer emails privados y buscar el mal en una profesión de amor.
Qué se siente cuando sellas la nostalgia y la soledad de aguien con un “sello de inspección de correspondencia”.
Debe de ser una sensación rara
el requisar fotos de alguien querido
El tratar de aprovecharse del afecto de alguien
por el eleogio de sus superiores.
Cómo es el mentir por unas cintas en un uniforme o por un trozo de metal brillante.
Sin arrepentimiento, destruir la vida de alguien en un abrir y cerrar de ojos
¿Qué se siente?
La sensación, que un hombre debe de haber tenido,
cuando arrodilló a una chica frágil en una manifestación.
Cuando hace escuchas telefónicas a quienes lo aman, inspeccionando sus libros.
Escuchar las grabaciones de escuchas telefónicas en las cuales alguien declara amor.
Cómo es esperar a una excusa
para poder dañar a la mayoría.
Condenar a alguien sólo por cumplir la orden de otro.
Siendo el guante sucio de
alguien absolutamente indiferente.
El intentar encontrar los lugares mas sensibles de aquellos quines le saludaron con un beso y un abrazo.
Intento entender la motivación que hay detrás de eso, el propósito de comportarse así.
¿Por pagar la hipoteca y las facturas? ¿Algo que demostrar o simplemente un deseo de sentir poder sobre alguien?
Quizás un poco de todo.
O simplemente actuar sólo sin pensar, como una máquina.
Como un tronco a la deriva con la corriente del río,
aplastando todo en su camino.
Un trozo de madera que solía ser un árbol vivo pero que hoy es sólo una cosa.
Pero las personas no son cosas, desean, sueñan, aman, respiran y viven.
¡Cuidan de sus hijos, aman, rien, lloran y sienten dolor!
Qué se siente cuando se olvida todo esto y simplemente sólo se existe.

I tady mezi vězni a bachaři nacházím v lidech tolik touhy po opravdové svobodě, až jsem tím sám zaskočen.
